Maybe a tunderbolt should wipe this region from the face of earth ,,,,sad reality !!! HAS GOD EVEN GIVEN UP ON THIS WAR-TORN REGION?? It is indeed sickening. All you hear about Middle East are bombs, rocket shells, air strikes and bloody suicide attacks. Towns and Villages, are reduced to rubble and terrified people left bewildered and homeless. Such wanton waste of life destruction of property mars the holy land that gave birth to three religions,: Judaism Christianity Islam The Jews and Muslims are bound in blood but are as far apart as the poles and for some inexplicable reason hate the sight of each other. For decades now the Palestinians and the Israelis have been locked in a bitter struggle. It's vengeance and revenge, an eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth, as advocated in the Old Testament. It's futile to find out who is right and wrong for the age - old conflict is woven in intrigue and mystique. Neither side wants to give in and accept responsibility for its actions but blames the other for the mindless killings. But I think at the heart of this bloody feud is that old evil - religious intolerance. This can be traced back to ancient times when the people split up to form their own religions. Blame too must lie with the west, the UN and especially the US, a committed ally of Israel . Big Uncle Sam, has his own hidden agenda, has never played a straight hand and can never be trusted to broker a fair deal to end the conflict. The UN is stymied by the Security Council, and cannot act impartially if one of its own powerful member is involved. The West thrives on conflict as long as the OIL supplies are not disrupted, and its arms factories are kept busy. So who can be trusted to bring peace to this bloody region??? If man cannot do it, Shouldn't God step in??? Perhaps this will end like Hiroshima ....!!! Or as God given up as well???  cilla is my guiding light   |
