FRIENDS -
I love my mother, and I like her. I love my sisters, and I like them. I love my daughters, and I like them. I love my wife, and I like her. So...yes...I like women.
Women are God's most beautiful creation, and they truly do make great "helpmates." God knew what He was doing. Man fell right into the plan, and Earth is very well populated.
I occasionally receive a message from some church member questioning my Christianity because I have so many women Friends. I received another one Easter Sunday from someone I thought knew me better.
You folks who pose such a question are practicing the great American exercise of jumping to conclusions...and you are doing it from a base of ignorance.
Yes...I have many women Friends, and among them are many professing Christians. I deny the "\bsexo?\b" girls and profane and/or vulgar women and men when they send Friend Requests. And, if anyone posts an offensive Bulletin, I immediately cancel and ban them.
If you "doubters" would have taken the time to look at the approxiamatly 1,200 worldwide Friends in my network, you would have found many law enforcement officers, members of the military, ministers, pastors, gospel singers and many other reputable people.
And what would have been your conclusion if I had absolutely no women Friends...only men?
We mortals are known by the company we keep and the things we say and do or don't say and do. Most of us spend far more time away from church than in the church. And many of us spend a lot of time on the internet. Our companions and friends reflect our core beliefs, and they are public evidence as to exactly who we are in real life. With whom do you associate when you are not in church or at work...but out and about...or online?
Religion does not necessarily save anyone, and it doesn't guarantee that one is a real Christian. First of all, there are all kinds of religion, and most of them are not Christian. Secondly, you can sit in a garage all of your life, dressed like an automobile and making sounds like one, and you will never be an automobile. Joining and attending a church does not make anyone a Christian. When one personally repents of one's sins and accepts Jesus the Christ as Lord and Savior and lives according to His teachings, then one is saved and a Christian... and fellowship with other Christians, in church and out, is a good thing. Members of any Christian fellowship tend to support and strengthen one another.
We Christians are to love God and one another. Let's do it.
I respectfully recommend that all of you carefully read the entire book of St. Matthew, beginning with Chapter 5 and paying particular attention to the red print.
May God richly bless you and all of those with whom you share love, and may He always keep you safe!
Thx, DAN Madison, Mississippi - USA

I love men and I few women, but the number of male friends far exceeds my female friends. Not for any reason, other than I work in an atmosphere that is predominatly male and therefore I am use to men and how they think.
People should not jump to conclusions.
Wishing you love, peace and much laughter God Bless Mary

Hope this don't mean you're leaving FF Dan.. Your words are valuable here. Very much needed in this world we live in, especially with the age and time were in. You nailed it right on the head with jumping to conclusions. They're nothing but assumptions that bring people their own disbeliefs within theiselves. Creating so much sin in this world at that. They assume, and accuse before even trying to get knowledge of truth. We as Christian's know what we know, cause we read, we learn, we try to teach to the best of our abilities. Those who judge us, and assume otherwise about us; so be it. We know different; and all we are trying to do when we spread His word in the first place, is try to get them to see a better life, (His promise) and (maybe) accept Christ as their Lord and Savior. We don't demand they do, they assume we are trying to convert them so they lash out at us. You know it's funny to me how people will say they don't believe in God to one person, but then to one who does believe that they want something to do with, they say they do. Just as the alcoholics, and drug addicts of this world who have no real control over their addictions, how they suddenly find themselves believing in God, praying to Him to save them, saying they'll never take another drink, or they'll quit the drugs, or even intimate sins, if You just save me Lord, I believe they say. Though they are the foolish and the lost. They don't really believe then, their still assuming under intoxicants without knowing. I know I'm getting a little off subject here, but with these kind of things I sometimes just let loose. I'm sure you understand, just as I'm certain that if any non-believer's read my comment, they will be all over it judging me, minimizing their own action's, trying to justify their wrongs to bring acceptance to them. I appreciate everything you write of Dan. I may not visit your blog very often, though when I do I read all of your past post. I know the truth, and you bring truth to light for other's with what you share each and every time. By research or with what is heartfelt of this world to you. It is those who assume that do not get the message. I get it, accept it, and appreciate it every time. Thanks you for your sharing Dan. May you and yours have a beautifully blessed Easter Sunday. He was risen from the dead, He lives in the now, we live in Christ as brother's. Amen.
A loving spirit within Ron
