Autumn Serenity The warm Fall day with a slight breeze follows behind me as I begin to see the valley below. A squirrel with a chestnut in it mouth runs across the ground filled with leaves that have fallen just within the past few days. Brown Yellow Gold and Green carpeting of natures beauty is all I can see for miles. The sound of water trickling from a creek almost like a tapping of cymbals soothes the day of wanting to find some solace of the afternoon. The trail is gone so as I meander through the bare trees I find that it helps stop time as I know I have no set direction in which to go. A faint sound of geese coming from the south has me looking up though the branches searching for the sight of the v formation that I have seen every year as I make the outdoors my second home. I remember this summer walking through this area filled with birds and butterflies constantly moving about the cool summer days. The green tree leaves a natural air conditioner from the heat of unusually warmth in valley plains. The river as I see had dropped below its normal size exposing the banks, small openings have the swallows making nests as the swoop in a precision entry that surely amazes me that they can do without harm to themselves or others. One after another bringing materials to make their home community comfortable. I wonder, do they help each other one by one until they all have what they need. Seeing further down stream almost like a natural dam, logs that have stopped in its path causing more to just bump and move in the water that is held back searching to find its place in the design . I see a muskrat dive down below coming back up and chewing on something it has found in its search for nourishment. Several white birds circling above almost like painting a picture with a invisible brush. Being out here with the wind and water, animals and birds, one can sit for hours just letting the mind clear, one with nature that offers to all that seek. Have a Wonderful Day Everyday filled with Good Health and Happiness! Thanks so much for stopping by and Reading My Post! |
