Forgiveness is easy,as well as saying "sorry" but its the real meaning to it that is hard to find. How sincere and true are those words given to other people, no one knows, no one can tell. Some people conceal their real feelings and shows different behavior on the outside. Nice post Boom.

I think they sadly are either lonely or don’t really love themselves…….? Avoid biting when a simple growl will do...♥

Hi Boomie  But sometimes we have to pretend to forgive as it is hard to forget when someone stabbed you in the back  It's better to smile and have dimples  than to frown and have wrinkles

Poet, I personally believe that one of forgivingness’s main purposes is for the sake of forgivers - YOU. Forgive and forget is an attempt, a way, strategy, or an excuse to heal our soul, to let go off our rage, displeasure and resentment from our betrayals, enemies. Otherwise, we are the one who suffers THE MOST and the longest as we continue to hold on to the hurtful past that we can do nothing to change. It is definitely not easy to do, and we don’t always succeed either. No matter how hard it is for you (and me) forgiving those who hurt, or betray (stabbing back), and whether we like it (forgiveness) or not (you wish you could hurt them back - revenge is sweet  lol.. maybe), we do whatever works best… for our own good, and peace of mind. Avoid biting when a simple growl will do...♥

An individual may naturally be more or less forgiving than another. As well we deal differently with grieves and anger that others victimize and wrong us. Many times, it is even twice harder to forget the pains esp. caused by someone we trusted!! Thanks the entire goodness in the world, I’ve had a very rare occasions in my life having experience forgiving....  The other choice is choosing not to forgive, then just pay no attention, no retaliation or ignore!!! Whatever rocks your boat! But I’d prefer to be true to my decision/action. If I have to, I’d pretend that I “forget” by NOT THINKING and talking about what/how it happened,…. so that I wouldn’t keep reminding myself the pains, or even pretend that it never happened. Avoid biting when a simple growl will do...♥
