dear sweet Jesus help me i pray as i drag out of bed to another lonely day no 'real life' friends to speak of on this journey called life no family to turn to to help share my strife i'm sad and i'm lonely feeling so lost struggling to hold on at any cost there's two little 'girls' who need me so much lord please give me strength i need your sweet touch lift all my burdens along with my cares i just need a break here please show me you hear . amazingrace54 . |

Footprints in the Sand One night I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord. Many scenes from my life flashed across the sky. In each scene I noticed footprints in the sand. Sometimes there were two sets of footprints, other times there were one set of footprints. This bothered me because I noticed that during the low periods of my life, when I was suffering from anguish, sorrow or defeat, I could see only one set of footprints. So I said to the Lord, "You promised me Lord, that if I followed you, you would walk with me always. But I have noticed that during the most trying periods of my life there have only been one set of footprints in the sand. Why, when I needed you most, you have not been there for me?" The Lord replied, "The times when you have seen only one set of footprints in the sand, is when I carried you." Mary Stevenson thanks for reading and as per Dave Allen "May your God go with you"

Nancy, Your poetry is getting better, this is what I see, Better than loneliness, for it will not set you free, Keep up your spirits, for you know God is the way, Just keep talking with Him Nancy, every single day, Ask Him for that special One, to come into your life, Depression will only keep you in, that nasty ole' strife, Ask Him to keep your spirits, held high and really laugh!
