Once upon a time a little bird told me not to engage in blog warfare. For a time I did not listen. Then came the time when I was beaten off the site by my own lack of control. I became so embroiled in anger I couldn't think straight. I lashed out at those who sided against me. Finally I was kicked off the site, never to return. Eight months later I returned with my heart and head in a much calmer place. What others were posting no longer bothered me. Live and let live is my motto. Then the day came when one little pill pot decided he knew all about me even though he had never commented on any of my blog posts. He falsely accused me of being an abuser of women. He said I even physically abused women. I never even had any conversations with this person. I stood up for myself and fended off the libel and slanderous accusations as anyone should. To bash or not to bash is the question. The answer is not to bash. People who bear false witness or those who believe in hearsay are mistaken. Time tells the truth. Sometimes it takes a long time to come to fruition, but the truth always lets itself be known. The moral of this story is: If you don't have anything nice to say then say nothing. it's Bob |

Life is a series of picking and choosing your battles. If what your confronting, isn't worth the time and effort walk away. I don't see a war built on words worth my effort. You'll always have someone who wants to get under your skin in someway, here or in your personal life. Why allow them too? The stronger person always chooses not to engage in such piety conflicts, always seeking the higher road. The fact is: stooping down to their level and engaging in deprecatory remarks, makes you no better then them. I'm not locked in here with you, you're locked in here with me! I lowered myself to that level a few times and all it got me was indigestion. It actually was worse for me to take it out on myself than anything anyone could have wrote about me. I am my harshed critic. So taken the higher road is why I left but then I returned. With a much mellower attitude. stop and smell the flowers along your way. take your shoes off and walk in the grass.

I have an enormous sensitivity to words, Bob. And, I think it would be nearly impossible not to be angry when someone says untrue and cruel things about you. Good for you for being the better person - truly, good for you. Peace .. elaine67

I wrote a blog about that Bob..If you don't have anything nice to say about someone..check it out sometime. I've been in a similar situation myself..someone on here told someone else on here things about me..I could have struck back..but just considered the 'source' it came from. It's only important that YOU know the truth about yourself..good on you for 'taking the higher ground.'
