Love's Goodbye...
Sometimes we love
Giving all
So willingly
Openness uninhibited
True, full and ready
We forgive, we give
We love, we stand
We honor, we trust
We share passion, instead of just lust
Yet sometimes love just isn't enough
When hearts can't decide what it is that they want
So loving, reaching and trying hurt
If not accepted or given in return
The strings of the heart
A matter of pain
Only can be washed
By God's holy rain
Cause love when it's true
Even with time, just will not leave
This heart of mine
So all I can do is pray for more rain
And trust my Lord too, has felt all this pain
So the forecast looks like more tears
Waiting for my joy filled days
When my harvest is here
