This is the time for Christmas cheer It happens but once a year A time to give but not to receive All the presents Santa leaves Beneath the tree all will be there Dressed up in a bow for all to share It’s the time to forgive and forget All the past things we regret Out with the old in with the new That’s the thing we always do As your family gather around the tree And handing the gifts out so happily When the lights flicker and glow Singing songs that we all know To see the joy we all share Knowing Santa has been there We all wish that it would stay This for only one special day. |
