It is you that walked into my life
I turned my head to look who was there
As you smiled and took my hand in yours.
You saw that I was wandering the beach without
A clue of where I was.....I was heading for the tide to take me to sea.
My sea of tears, drowning in my own sorrow.
My swollen heart from the pain of love lost.
But it was you that took my hand in yours.
Please guide me away from the cliffs
Because I can’t see them with my wet eyes
Please guide me away from the tide
Because I am too tired to swim
Please guide me to somewhere that is safe
Because I am so very lost.
And it is you that took my hand in yours.
It is you that gently comforts me
It is you that has removed my tears
It is you that has found my smile.

Here is a life jacket...LOL
