A student asks a teacher, "What is love?" The teacher said, "In order to answer your question, go to the wheat field and choose the biggest wheat and come back. But the rule is: you can go through them only once and cannot turn back to pick." The student went to the field, went thru the first row, he saw one big wheat, but he wonders....maybe there is a bigger one waiting for him some where. Then he saw another bigger one... But maybe there is an even bigger one waiting for him. Later, when he finished more than half of the wheat field, he starts to realize that the wheat is not as big as the previous one he saw, he knows he has missed the biggest one, and he regretted. So, he ended up going back to the teacher with an empty hand. The teacher told him, "...this is love... You keep looking for a better one, but when later you realised, you have already missed the person...."
"What is marriage then?" the student asked. The teacher said, "In order to answer your question, go to the corn field and choose the biggest corn and come back. But the rule is: you can go through them only once and cannot turn back to pick." The student went to the corn field, this time he is careful not to repeat the previous mistake, when he reaches the middle of the field, he has picked one medium corn that he felt satisfied with, and come back to the teacher. The teacher told him, "this time you bring back a corn.... You look for one that is just nice, and you have faith and believe this is the best one you get.... This is marriage."
Hello everyone!! What are your thoughts about this? I hope you are all having a fabulous week. (My prayers are for all my friends in the Philippines, their families and for all those who are in need.)

I guess i have been in the game to long because I would be looking for the wheat without any bugs And the corn that looks the sweetest and would make a pretty picture
And may God bless and give comfort and strength to the Filipino people in their hour of need

Steven, cowboy!!
You are so funny. I guess you have been in the game too long. Sometimes one can't see the forest for the trees. Maybe we should just plow down the field and start over?? Wishing you much happiness in your life.
Amen.

Good story! I suppose when we choose our ear of corn, we are hopeful that it is good enough. After 20 years with my ear, I decided that I'd be better off without it. Sad, but I was right. I suppose that I'm better off single.

Hi there! My ear of corn turned into popcorn and blew away, which is also sad so I am picking flowers instead. Hope you are having a great weekend...........

It must be different in Wales....we always had our tea around 6. Is it differnet in England? Or just backward in Wales?
