I have been wondering what other people experience about how long does a genuine kiss last long after the physical touch has vanished. Think about it. When you kiss your partner right before he or she is off to run an errand or is going to work; can’t you still feel the kiss on your lips even though you are alone again? I still remember the last kiss my grandmother gave me on my cheek before she passed away. What are your thoughts? Romance Remembered The moment my moist lips are against yours Your arm around the back of my neck Pulling my body closer to you Your lips become part of mine. My mind spinning in the wind You, as our sail, gliding us in the breeze. Floating in fireworks that light up our sky Exploding hues of passion showers our souls Wondering how long our kiss will last within me. Give us a moment; it lasts forever. hi "L"    yes they do,.. some last forever,.. and some a blink of an eye one i remember was from my teenage yrs,.. she was the mother of my son, when she and i had a breakup i remember her crying and we made up, i had kissed her and held her close it was in that kiss i tasted her tears, i`ll never forget this,. dan.

I agree some last forever. They leave an imprint on your heart. I wrote this poem about the last intimate kiss I gave many months ago. It is touching that you shared about the tears blended with the kiss. In this last kiss....both of our tears were on our lips. A very memorable kiss. It was the last time I saw him.....One knows when happiness is found, when one no longer seeks it.

I suppose I must have selective memory. I don't have a memorable kiss. I seem to have blocked them all out from my mind (maybe to keep from hurting?  )

Cooties was a kids game from the 1960's and 1970's .. That was a big giant plastic bug, but kind of like a GIANT green (cock-roach) round body and head with 8 legs and big googly eyes, funny ears and a little red hat. All of the parts would come off the main body, and your gaol was to put the parts back on by spinning a wheel, I think " having to reach into some old brain cells..LOL" It was kind of like the Mr. potato head game. And all us young boys teased the girls about having cooties, and if a girl kissed you, then you got the cooties, then your friends would tease you I hand forgotten all about that game. I remember what it meant if you got the cooties.....because that was a really bad thing to happen. Yuck and ewwww comes to my mind. Have a GREAT weekend. I will always remember the kiss from my son after not seeing him for a year, and the painful thumps of his fists on my chest.
