The way you see your life shapes your life. But in this situation how could we see our lifes if it's many uneducated peoples or the peoples probably hates the gays and that's creates sometimes in some issues, repeated reports of violent hate crimes against gays have dominated the queer community.And it is created fear of real or imagened " serial killers " who supposedly enter homes and brutally kill and mutilate lone gay occupants. The public remains clueless and no credible suspects have been arrested. This follow many years of sporadic reports in Metro MAnila and nearby provinces of gay men found dead of stabbing and strangulation in their homes or by wayside. Because of the unusual severity of physical harm inflicted; so many stab wounds, strangulation and gross mutilation -it is increasingly evident that homophobic hatred against the victims motivated the offenders' cruel crimes. In the light of all these, it is becoming important for the gay community to think about the safety for its members. This issue i was get from the Television aired last time, and i posted this up because i want to give guide to my same feelings with me, like being a gay.. Because for instance, our unspoken metaphor influence our lives more than to realization. It determines our expectations, our values, our relationships, our goals, and priorities. That's why we need to handle ourselves with some safety, to avoid being victims of exploitation.. |

What you describe here is far worse than mere exploitation. Once again, a marginalized group is being victimized in the worst way possible. I despair of human beings as they work their way through those groups without power. At one time, it was women, another time people of colour. Now gays. And the same tired old arguments are trotted out to justify the treatment. My heart goes out to you. Wishing you happiness Misty
