Paris?

with the current H1N1 situation I was wondering if I should proceed with plans to travel

given the current gloomy economy... erm erm....
also what if I am one of the nine hundred the company decides to AXE in the next 30- 90days to align with business structure

I understand nothing can stand still in time
and i dislike the idea of dropping plans to travel if I can manage time etc

is it going to be Paris? I am checking with Doris my long time pal.... she prefers Tokyo! I hate to travel alone and would love the idea of Doris along

I am going to execute my steps properly...
Gather the strong EUR and JPY currency, hotel rates in both places, weather similar in Oct and blah blah blah...
and if this still doesnt go through i dnt know what will....

well indeed i know the next 30- 90days
would be crucial for me in office...
if i make it jolly well good...
if not... maybe i pack my bag to Oz for a couple of weeks...
who knows what tomorrow brings...
as long as we are happy doing it...
and have some dough to bring us to our next destination

enjoy my friends....

we been there New Jersey, Delaware, Virginia, Alabama, Louisiana, Tennessee, Pennsylvania and New York Ros & Jimy

Hiya Ros

You do bring up a good point with the economy in the shiter and the swine flu up to over 7000 cases reported .. may not be the best time for travel but then again the cost of travel is cheaper now sooo guess that just makes it a harder decision

My "new years resolution" was to get all of my stuff paid off this year and put a little "nest egg" back in case hard times hit me .. and so far I am doing good at sticking to the plan

Today is the youngest you will ever be. Live like it !

My sister in law (if you remember, the one who invited you and Tone for biscotti and coffee over at her place) and her husband's entire family (parents, sons and their wives, grandkids) all went to Tokyo the other year and had a blast. It was in December, so they experienced snow, which the kids loved. They opted to stay at the Oakwood serviced apartments there, which, according to my sister in law, is cheaper if there's more than one of you.

Also, Tokyo is on sale in January. We're debating on whether Paul and I and the boys will go there this end of December to start of January, just so the kids can experience winter.

I'm dyslexic. I scream Ho Dog instead of Oh God in the throes of passion.
