I got as far as Deadwood, South Dakota before my money ran out. I thought about hitch hiking down to Tucson, Az where my sister lived to visit her for a couple of days before I headed back to Florida. When I told her that she offered to advance me the money to take the bus directly back to Florida. In the two months that I was on the road I figure that I covered between 2,900 and 3,000 miles. Along the way I did see some places with help wanted signs but with out a place to keep my stuff safe from being damaged or stolen I didn't feel safe in staying anywhere. So, now I am back down here and will see what happens. Here at least I know that my stuff will be safe. The tent that I left here was gone when I got back which means I will be living in my smaller tent to I get enough money for a larger one. My next goal is to save enough money so I can get a car. |
