Why does it have to be so freakin' hard? When we were kids, the one (for that particular moment) seemed to land in front of your face without effort. Now, as we get older, the one seems to land everywhere but in front of your face.
I wonder, do we miss opportunities with a potential mate because we don't really take the time to appreciate the entire person, and only see the packaging?
I wonder, do we miss opportunties to enjoy a potential long term relationship because we have set goals that are too hard for anyone, including ourselves to meet?
Funny how we all want the "one," yet we all find ways to avoid the one. What a contradiction.

Yeah, hugging a pillow at night just isn't quite as nice.
