In news today (UK newspaper "The Independent"): sad to see a town swept away by earthquake lake. Beichuan. "The living have left Beichuan but the gushing waters took with them the corpses buried in the rubble, the life savings of people who were forced to flee, as well as their books, letters, photographs and other memories". I know how you hate the western media, but you should know that it has been reporting the events with sympathy. In this case the struggle to hold back the "quake lake". It goes on to say "The Communist Party has scored high among ordinary people for it's swiftness at dealing with the aftermath.." I dont suppose the army could have done more. I am a common Chinese man, 34 years old, have a long-term job, have own family, and know some English. I'll study some Japaness language this year, for it is interesting. Why I do not believe western media, and even hate them? When I was a middle-school student I ofter heard the radio of Sound of American. It could tell me something different from Chinese official media. But when it told one Chinese leader's death again and again, and he is realy respected by many Chinese people, I found that it just cheated me, and did not respect Chinese people's feeling and Chinese tradition. I found lies more and more in Sound of American, and at last I just never heard the radio again. And now I ofter play WOW after dinner. I do not like watch TV at night. But after 3.14, I find almost all the western media just support the killers and criticize Chinese government, who suppressed the turbulence and arrested many mobs. I am very angry. When American president lied to the world about Iraq before , and now lied to the world about Iran, it disgust me, but it's far from my life and I still play WOW. But when they lie about China, I think it's my responsibility to tell the west the truth about China. I am not beg west people, just save west people, give them truth from lies around them. I know many Chinese people not travel to France, and France brand are not welcome in China. It's not the government's order or suggestion, it's Chinese poeple's decision. It's ridiculous that Beijing and Paris are 'friend city'. At least, Paris are not friendly for Chinese people now. So many Chinese people request BeiJing city government to cancel this relationship to Paris city. By the way, I think Chinese government are almost the best one in the world and in Chinese history.When I was a child, we were very poor and we are rich than before. When 100 years ago Chinese people suffered just like Iraqi-today, but now we can shoot satellite down. We have many problem during developing, but everyone has his own trouble, including west. Maybe the west should stop Iraq war at first. You are in 'free world', why not free to stop the evil war and save more innocence life?
