In a South Korean BBS, some Korean asked that why Chinese soldiers went into the center of earthquake area without weapon. Yes, we can find it from videos, photoes and TV.But weapon is useless in rescue, why they should take it? Chinese people are used to keep order, even in earthquake area.PLA's job is to rescue, not resume order there.PLA soldiers are our brothers, sons and uncles.Their weapon is useful in the border of China, but useless in earthquake area. They only carried some medicine, food and clean water. |

How is the rescue going btw? I'm most concerned about those people involved in the quake. Did they find the children buried underneath the rubble fan? I'll keep praying for them.

Rescue is going on, but since now about 72 hours from earthquake, the chance of survive for those children still under ruins are seldom. In YingHua primary school, soldiers have digged out more than 100 children and most of them are alive, but teachers said that there are still about 300 chilren under ruins. Just a monent ago they digged out four children's corpses. And in DUJIANGYAN middle school, there are still 1000 students under ruins.I can not find the number how many survive in rescue.I know at least 4 of them are alive and have been carried to hospital, and more than 50 corpses have been digged out. More miserably some kindergarten are also collapsed and many baby are still under ruins. Since about 72 hours passed, no water, no food, I think they have died. We should cherish our daily life, and love our family.
