Britain Times said it's a victory of public relations when a west reportor was dead in Georgia by Russian gun. When we read the news, we can not a few of sorrow.Just a victory and it is cheerful. But in Chinese web, I find many photoes about the war. Many Georgian losed their house, their family, and even their life. I can understand how the Georgian president think.Maybe he believes in his American father would come to help him, or NATO would attack the Russia directly and immediately. He is foolish and relentless. Georgian are suffering much for his imprudent attack order.No one will help Georgian， for it is apparent that Russia are the unerring party of this war.Georgian attacked Russian firstly and then Russian are angry and fight back. The war is between a mouse and a cat. If the Georgian are wise and want to stop the war earlier, they should arrest their president, and say sorry to Russian. Well, really a west reporter's death is meaningless for the war, and even thousands west reporters death, is meaningless too. |

Russia invaded Georgia because Georgia tried to stop seperatists breaking away from their country. Russia is hypocritical. Russia oppressed chechniya because it tried to break away from their country. The Georgians have been let down by the West because the West fears a war with nuclear Russia. If Russia did not have nuclear weapons a war to liberate Georgia from the invading Russians would have happened (like the war to liberate Kuwait from invading Iraq in 1991) HM HM

In fact, Georgia people is suffering for their president imprudent attack. Maybe West politician misguided the addlepated man. Well, let's suppose Bush decided to help Georgia and attack Russia all-around. Someone said China would help Russia and Europe would support American. In fact, Chinese and Europer can do nothing before all the world and human culture destoryed by millions of nuclear warhead of American and Russia. How many American people support Bush to do it?  I don't think there is a 'Invading'. Only few years ago they are a family. So this is their own business. And West just did it in 1940-1950 in Taiwan Strait. Chinese PLA planed to liberate Taiwan island and stop seperatists, but USN sent the seventh fleet there. Mao is a wise leader. He decided to develope nuclear weapon and we did in 1964. Now there are still two parts of China in the world. The war to unify China is inevitable for every unifying of China in history are all by war. Maybe CCP can change the history and unify the country by peace. I hope so.

There is nothing wise about nuclear weapons. I wish they had never been invented. Nuclear weapons, like you say, may lead to humans committing suicide as a species, and taking this world into oblivion as well. All countries foreign policies are complex and hypocritical at times. However, Russia has invaded a sovereign nation-state, Georgia, which is seperate from Russia by geography and culture. Just because they are next-door neighbours does not give Russia, or any other country, the right to invade. It is nice to communicate with you fan_cuixia. Happy Olympic Games! (If you like them) HM

I watch TV about Olympic games everynight till middle night with my family. All we talk about are Olympic games in those days. The war is much far away from China.
