In Chinese BBS someone said that American Navy are so strong, powerful and advanced, so that 5 aircraft carrier can destory all Chinese cities around the Pacific.

Another said only 10 F22 are enough to destory all Chinese out-dated fighter.Since Chinese air force have more than 3000 fighters, how many missiles can the 10 F22 carry on?

Just funny.

Aircraft carriers are just large coffins in the war about China.Of course all kinds of weapon are made to protect people. So when they are threatened by aircraft carriers, certainly we can choose all weapon to attack it, including tactical nuclear weapons.

Of course we would not send any aircraft carriers to American coastal. We have no aircraft carriers and have no plan to make it. And American Navy should not send anyone to threaten us. I am not fear to it, but some Chinese are too serious to face it. When they are too nervous and too fearing, maybe they make mistake and attack American aircraft carriers by tactical nuclear weapons firstly. And, after first nuclear explosion , all world would suffer a nuclear war.

So, I try to tell them that American aircraft carriers only can threaten weak country , and they are only moving coffins for China. We should not fear it.

And American people should tell their Navy commander, and American president, if not have received Chinese invite, never send any aircraft carriers to Chinese coastal.

Peace between us are very important for the world.

Complete bullshit - as long as the conflict was below 10000 ft over land the Chinese ground forces would wipe the US air force out of the air with shoulder and ground mounted AA missiles.

Same thing happened in Afghanistan when the Russians were there - give enough ground troops the correct weapons and planes don't stand a chance.

The only area that the US would dominate would be remote release guided missiles - the things you see destroying targets which have been illuminated by a targeting laser - great for killing installations - rubbish for killing guerrilla forces.

As China is an emerging super power the United States respects China and all of her people. The U.S. has no intention of insulting China or her citizens by a show of force. Any differences will be solved by diplomacy, not stupidity. Besides, the 2 countries are enjoying a lucrative trade agreement that favors China right now. Thankfully the present administration will be leaving office in about 6 months. Our new president will be less arrogant and more understanding of a world economy rather than trying to be a bully.

Said like a true Brit.

Keep in mind that in China one cannot open express disagreement with the government. Is that what you respect?

No, But I spent a lot of time out East and understand their motives however much we on the other side of the Bamboo Curtain find them repulsive.
