I have an addictive personality, hence i studiously avoid addictive things (except food obviously- where's ma pies?I need pies!) i become ever so slightly obsessive about hobbies and lately i've been spending hours i should be spending more profitably playing online poker.It's just imaginary money (Or more precisely tokens) You start with 40 chips and for the past two days i've spent up to three hours turning my 40 into 1500 only to lose it to the most outrageous fluke.Yesterday i had a full house and went all in only to be beaten by four fricken twos and today i had full house kings over aces and some fecker had aces over kings.The odds of that are just astronomical. Anyhoo i blame Captain Princess cos i nicked the program off her facebook page. So now you know why i haven't been on here lately. Go chastise Ceeps it's not my fault.lol |

Hehe...i have just taken up poker too, not online, but every saturday night at my griends, a group of us....and i am hooked too....we play for fun, although last week we played for 50pence a game...i know...big spenders eh... ...anyway, i came second, and can't wait to play again this sat nite....Hmmmm...3am again.... ...have a great evening...Never Give Up Hope...Your Dreams Are Out There....

Having played for a few days Deb'm8 it's becoming clear that there are certain anomalies (that i've learned to take advantage of lol) in the program. There's little chance (the odds are hundreds of thousands to one) that for instance two players would get full house One with aces over kings the other with kings over aces in the same hand but that sort of thing happens a lot on there. Lol i don't get "cyber conjooglin" Potty me pal lol Makes no sense to me. I enjoy the social banter too Rachie and in the three days i've been playing i've been "added" as a poker buddy several times (You just know i'm the chatty one at the table don't you?lol) "Ye can tak oor kilts but ye'll never tak oor sporran", Morag hen lol Oh Ceeps i seem to be quite good at this game (or more accurately most people are very bad at it lol) Been playin for three days (not 24 hours you understand lol But a few hours each day) and i have amassed from my 500 starting chips 54,000 i've been promoted to a three star shark and thence to a 4 star BIG dawg (i like that lol)and my ranking is 104,000th (Which considering most people seem to be in the 1 to 8 millionth range i'm kinda impressed with meself lol)Today i'm determined to get into the 5 figures lol. I suspect i'm a pair of French knickers Or perhaps fur-lined incontinence pants lol. lol It's been a while since it was kilt-wearing weather Scales My haggis is hibernating. lol i have 6 o them Misty me mistress.(Did have 7 but i bequeathed one to the first-born) Oh Morag what on earth would ye want with my kilt It's my sporran that i keep my bits and bobs in.lol Lol Belle you trying to unkilt me too?
