Planning a drive across the country

I'm starting up my business in Florida and have been living in California, so it seems like it would be a good idea to bring a car out with me to settle in a bit better.

I just started planning this recently, and am pretty excited since I haven't been to most of the states that aren't on the coasts.

The car I would bring is a two-seater, so I won't be bringing much along with me. Just clothes and any emergency gear and I'll be staying in hotel/motels along the way.

I'm thinking it will take 7-9 days of driving, and hopefully I'll be able to see a little of each place along the way. So the total trip time may take a bit longer.

I'll post again when I have all the details about which cities I'll stop in and any longer stops to check things out there. I'll probably stop in Las Vegas for a day, just because.

The only thing that makes me think this might be a bad idea, is that I might lose some momentum right before I finish my product and can start making sales, but the idea of a short vacation before the sales cycles begin is mighty alluring.

Much to think about...
