I sit here and ponder today, as the rain falls outside. What am i doing, where am i going, too many questions to think straight. I really don't believe i ask too much of life, just, really, to share everyday things, and new adventures with someone very special...i know he is out there somewhere, it is just making the right choices.... The last month has been hard, but also, very, very rewarding. Friends here on this site have been incredible, and now hopefully the end has come. I have spoken this week to Scott, apologies accepted, we will both move on with our lives, it is such a shame as i cared for him so, but hopefully this clears everything up for a few people on this site, you know who you are.... I am of course much more wary now, but won't give up hope. Friendfinder has, in a strange way, given me so much, it is so funny at times, so sad at times, so hurtful also, but that is all part of life, and i believe it could be quite boring without its ups and downs.... I have never been any good at making friends, i have been too much of a gypsy moving around with my work, but the care and affection i have received here, makes me realise how much i miss having good close friends, maybe one day i will settle down and have the life i dream of.... Bruce is doing much better, which is a great relief for the time being.... I want to thankyou all of you that have voted for me so far in the Romantic Recipe contest, it's just a bit of fun, but i really could do with that Golden Ball like Fancyfee now has....lol...and i think her and EntranceMe are hilarious with their 'ongoing' kidnap situation...thanks ladies...!!!!!.... Such a relief to have closure when something ends and I am happy you got that Rach. No more 'ifs' and 'buts'. Always remember 'when one door closes another opens'. Now I have just checked your status on the contest and you are still in the lead by a few points so I will need to start pimping harder for you. Gosh and you referred to me as a Lady!!! Not sure anyone will think of me like that at the end of this contest  We will get you that gold ball Rach, just so you can check out any prospective men in more depth before they get under your skin. Okay, I'm off to see if elric is taking the bait

I can relate to what you said about appreciating the human contact provided by FF. Of course, I do have my wife to be with. But my best male friend lives too far away to visit on a regular basis and my work schedule has made it difficult to cultivate many friendships outside of the workplace. So the last month of blogging here has really made a difference in feeling I have some connection with people besides my spouse and family. In fact, I have noticed a distinct increase in my daily happiness following this greater social contact. So hurrah for bloggsville! Bruce is a very handsome looking dog. Is he a boxer, a mastiff or other? I hope he is doing OK healthwise. And, of course, good luck in finding the right guy. I met my wife on FF's sister site of Amigos.com. So I know finding love online is possible and I admire your determination to continue the search. Take care, Chris

Wow  sorry Rach that I haven't been around to help much but I think Tone, GB and elric tried to poison me with their recipes I've been laid up in bed for the past 4 days recovering. I tried each recipe out on my darling, laid in wait each night for a shag but with not much luck Really he said, 'forget the food I'll give ya the shag anyway' Well Rach you are way up on points and I see that matching gold egg .. er ball  coming your way. I've spoken to Customs in Spain and they will give you and your secret weapon special clearance so you are good to go. Go get him hehe

Once I loved someone. For a very long time. In the end I saw that I was the only one of us that felt that way. Oh well.. If there's such a thing as reincarnation, i'de like to be a Brown Hawk. When nesting, a male hawk sits on the eggs while the female hunts, and visa versa. No issue over who's doing the washing up in that household eh. Free and yet together.. it's a pity that this "higher" species of humans can't manage that.

Rach, sorry to hear your ups and downs... but time will take care of them. Plus you are a beautiful person inside and out and there will be a person just right for you. Besides, why settle for anything less than what you deserve, to be happy, to have a great partner, and to be loved.... even by all your friends here at ff.
