Well, a hard day at work over...i've been catching up with the blogs and after reading and reflecting on what has gone on in my life the last few weeks, it made me think of how a potential suitor tested me once.... I was a member of another singles site last year, and i spotted a really funny profile...i wrote a funny mail to the guy, and he responded with a very witty reply...this carried on for a week or so, back and forth, fun and laughter... We progressed to MSN, chatting over the net and all was going very well over several weeks...we used to say.."i think this is going to be good"...then say to each other.."we shouldn't say the word think"..we should be very positive... On the original dating site, i got a mail from a guy, no picture with a very nice comment about my looks..i wrote back out of courtesy, even though, as i told him, i did not normally respond to no photo...he wrote back and added a picture which was very nice...not that looks really matter to me...anyway...i was busy at work and couldn't reply... then at the end of the day found more mail from him, asking me why i was ignoring him, that he really wanted to get to know me...i didn't reply at that time as the guy i was writng and chatting to was on-line, so i left it... A few days later, another mail from the other guy, asking me to meet up with him for a coffee, he lived locally, just to chat...i did write back and said "sorry i couldn't meet him" i wouldn't meet anyone that quickly, but more importantly, i wrote that i 'thought' i had met someone very special and that i wished him well... Heavens above...a few minutes later a mail back from him saying that i shouldn't 'think' that he was special, that...(his name)...was special and that it would all work out...!!!!!...initially i was flabbergasted, how did he know his name, how did he know that we spoke about the word 'think'...then the penny dropped...it was the guy i had been speaking to for weeks...i contacted him straight away, and he said he had to know for sure i wasn't a scammer..!!!...so i said to him, he must be ecstatic with my reply to the fake guy...and of course he was... Fair play to him for doing that to me, as men get deceived as well... We met, it didn't work for various reasons, although we are still friends and hopefully we will remain so.... But...i passed the test i am proud to say...!!!! |

I'm sorry but if some bloke tested me like that I would be testing him to see how far back his balls can shrink. I don't know you having only read some of your posts detailing your poor treatment from scammers and the like but I think you deserve better than this and should be more vigilant. Take care now. Lol, this must have been a suspicious kind of a guy. Nobody has tested me like that by now. SL  Keep love in your heart ! SL

I'm sorry but if some bloke tested me like that I would be testing him to see how far back his balls can shrink. I don't know you having only read some of your posts detailing your poor treatment from scammers and the like but I think you deserve better than this and should be more vigilant. Take care now. Surely testing peoples tenticles is a way of seeing if they are real??  Tone.

I kind of figured when you mentioned the second guy that they were one in the same. I have heard alot of women do this or set up their friends to do it online. It does kind of go against the 'trust' thing. Glad you passed the test though!

wow I must be kept in the dark as I've never heard of this but I guess each to their own. Glad you had a good experience and passed the test. I don't doubt you wouldn't pass...you are a good person Rach. Bet of luck with the next one and yes there will be a next one. Hugs for your Sunday, oh and Happy Mother's Day to you...from Bruce lol

Theres quite a few testers out there and those who play mind games unfortunately it happens, personally given the benifit of the doubt to such as one now i just dont want to tolerate it anymore, i rather waste my time watching paint grow, i dont even bother reading the excuses and apologises anymore, time to move on and do different things.

Hey you let go of my Tenticles, they wont shrink any furhter. Surely testing peoples tenticles is a way of seeing if they are real?? Tone.

I am glad to have a steady girlfriend. I can just enjoy blogging on here without having to worry about who is fake or real in a potential dater. I did get hotlisted by a girl on here recently though, which is funny, considering I have no photo and have written barely anything on my profile.  If you can't convince them, confuse them!

I am glad to have a steady girlfriend. I can just enjoy blogging on here without having to worry about who is fake or real in a potential dater. I did get hotlisted by a girl on here recently though, which is funny, considering I have no photo and have written barely anything on my profile.

I suppose one of these days I'm going to pay for taking things at face value and in fact it nearly happened once but I would be suspicious of someone who tested me like that. I guess there could be extenuating circumstances for his caution. Glad it worked out that you are still friends. Enjoy the ride. All you take with you when you leave is the experience.
