Cripes....i am fed up today....it's beautiful and sunny and i wanted to sunbathe today, but got a phone call to go to work...to help a couple who have got timeshares they don't want...they are coming from Scotland to the Midlands...so i really do have to go in and help them... Anyway, i digress...i have my thinking head on today...and after watching the main news today, i understand from what we are told, that the average British family throw away 600pds of food a year, edible just not required... That brought back thoughts to last week at my daughters house....her partner is a farmer, and most weeks, pallet loads of food are driven to his farm with food for cattle...now i could understand this if it is out of date food or mouldy etc to supplement the cattles daily diet...but...no....pallets of chocolate gateaux, croissants, whole...yes whole boxes of weight watchers chocolate caramel cakes..hmmm yummy....and all within date...????....what on earth is going on...ok...our family benefit from yummy cakes and things...not me because i am on a diet...but how absolutely crazy....what about the homeless, old peoples homes, the poor...???...i just don't get it...and he is just 1 farmer, how much more food gets wasted in this way.... Well gotta go...couple arrived, got to help them now... Enjoy the sun here in the UK everyone....  Never Give Up Hope...Your Dreams Are Out There.... |

Wow im loving the sunshine YIPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE, i have a lovely colour already,im so weather beaten  but well moisturised,can you believe people,they were getting on my hubbies bus yesterday moaning it was too hot!!!!!! jeez what is wrong with peeps just enjoy it who knows how long it will last!!!!I Saw the news as well,shocking isnt it,i shop carefully,and i bargain hunt,some people have more money than sense,as for supermarkets,what a waste!!!!! Another day of bathing in the sun,with plenty of good books to read,working tomorrow and saturday morning,but home by lunchtime,back in the lounger to enjoy my dose of vitamin D,looking good and feeling great  Have a good weekend sweetness,its going to be a glorious weekend. hugs xxxxxxxxxx come and roll in the mud i wanna get dirty.

I'm loving the sunshine too. Long may it last! It's a scandal - cows having chocolate cake n'all. Might fatten them up, but cows are supposed to eat grass. They weren't designed to eat cakes! Wonder if the quality of the milk is affected. Hey ho!

There are farmers here that get semi truck loads of that kind of food.  Such a waste.Later, Mickey Never take life seriously. No one ever gets out alive anyway.

Can somebody divert them foodstuffs to Myanmar, please???? That is, if their twit of a government will let it through. (muttergrumbleunintelligiblecussing about what's happening there) I'm dyslexic. I scream Ho Dog instead of Oh God in the throes of passion.

whew for a minute when I read MMs response I thought she wanted those trucks carrying chocolate gateaux croissants diverted to her place  well we all know how she loves chocolate.

I work at a park and people throw away a lot of food in the garbage. It really irks me how wasteful people are in the U.S. too. Another thing that bothers me is that people are throwing their TV's away in the forests, instead of properly disposing of them, because next year we are required to get new ones that are high definition. Crazy! Have a great weekend and enjoy some sun! If you can't convince them, confuse them!
