THE MANS CAVE I'm sure we all remember those forts, clubs and tree houses with the signs saying NO GIRLS ALLOWED. A haven for the males of the species. Well it seems that the modern day man has decided they need to perpetrate this idea in to there adult life. DIY network even has a show MAN CAVES hosted by Tony “the goose” Siragusa a former NFL player. So what is a man cave well it seems it's any place in the house or yard a man can be alone with his buddies, even Hank Hill from King of the Hill(the alley behind his home), and Doug from King of Queens (the garage) Had their designated area to hang with their friends. So what do you women think of our men needing a place where no women are allowed??? Guy's what do you think? Do you feel the need for a man cave? If yes can you enlighten us women as to why?  just things that run through annie's little mind  |

I think it's a great idea! Guys need a place to burp, watch porn, etc. without us! I'm all for the "alone time" or "time with the guys". As long as he lets me do my shopping in peace and allows me my "alone time" too! I wonder if that makes me the exception?  Take What You Want. Leave What You Don't.

Again? Man/Woman or Swam/man... Well, well rather I will suggest... you better change yur mode of seeing things into it. Replace man by only a social-group, you will feel comfort. Rename man's cave, it's a place of an interest group. In fact even only one person needs a cave at times. There are many caves or rooms might be needed to broaden our civilization: man's cave lol, womens, teachers', students, players, lesbians, gay's, saints', devils etc...Just all need to be judged and to be scaled by the perfect social norms, values n standards. Blue Jeans, my dear friend... for hunderds of centuries this world has been getting into masculine epistome! Just look at every where words of wisdom, holy pamphlets, law and orders, science and techs, jobs and recreations and language itself. Everywhere we can find masculinization. May be also in my words. This is true. Being a member of man's family I am sorry for that. But hopefully feminist waves protest all these. (But I won't support now any reaction like 20's bra movement, early feminist movements lool). Many bad masculinized words and attitudes had already been deconstructed and redefined. We should do lots more to reshape this world in to an even humane topography. So, plz stop thinking like this, any man/woman woman/man game! Perhaps a man-group needs a cave! Lol I have my personal cave, also. Mmm... it's getting a long...mm it's now a headache..lol I have to finish it here.ok. I think some men need there caves, where else could they drag their knuckles on the ground and think it is a normal way to be. My son has his hunting cabin, but he lets his wife go there occasionally, when invited whatever

Most emphatically, a MAN CAVE is a must! 1)it's a place we can hang up our favorite pictures, like our pin-up gurlz (mine were always the Sports Illustrated swimsuit models) 2)it's where we can watch the game and discuss politics with our buddies and not have to listen to a bunch of back-ground chatter and commentary other then our own (our opinion and expertise is important and should not be taken lightly by the opposite sex!) 3)it's where we can air our grievences, complaints, and gripe about the women in our lives that, at times, drive us to drink! 4)it's where we can creat and build things with our hands and conduct experiments with wood, metal, glue, and duct tape (how else can we use all those nice shiney tools we collect!) 5)it's where we can take a nap away from the hussle and hub-bub of the day (this is known as 'recharging our batteries' or sleeping of the rest of our hangover) 6)it's where we plot and plan...things like vacations, family outings, romantic excursions with our honey, and we compare notes with our buddies as to the where and where-nots to do and go 7)it's where guys that don't hang-out in bars and strip clubs like to hang-out (and it's a lot cheaper!)  it's where we keep the beer fridge! (nuff said there)9)it's where we build our "glory wall" covered with momentos, important souveniers, complete with that 1st place bowling trophy from 1985, and odd auto parts from past-owned vehicles or future-to-own dream cars (Mustang, Camero, Corvette, Porsche, BMW, Ferrari) 10)finally, it's where we'll let you come visit for a short time, just as long as you respect it for what it is...our 'guy-space' away from everything else...after all, you get the rest of the house, and at least you know where we are! --A toast, to all "MAN CAVES...everywhere"...they keep us sane!
