A friend sent me this when I was going through some rough times about five years ago. It is a piece of Nelson Mandella's presidential inaugural speech from 1994. Hope you enjoy it! "Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who are we to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be?... You playing small doesn't serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so other people won't feel insecure around you... And as we let our light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others!" If you can't convince them, confuse them! |

I've always been afraid of being famous or becoming a celebrity. Being famous one pays a high price. No more privacy ... People recognize you everywhere you go. One has to project and maintain a certain image. It's hard work!! I see it from my celebrity friends, and always tried very hard to keep a low profile. It's nice to be insane when No one is looking
