A memory
That's all I have left, Just a mem'ry
And I'm thinking of how to pretend
To tell myself
That it's all in the past
And in time it will mend

Those good times
I always got them there through the bad times
And I never have cause to pretend
That the joys and the pain were so real
Counting those years were like days so it seems
And it came flashing as If they were all dreams

And slowly,
I come face to face with the memory
Conversations that never will end without tears
The night turn to dawn
But Whatever I do
My life was still full
Of YOU...

 yes memories are locked in our hearts, the good ones warm the heart and the not so good will serve as lessons to help us how to live the present.
