Dear Maverick, I am leaving FF for good. It has caused me a lot of pain and heartache, I can't go on anymore... (name deleted)  this is but an excerpt of an e-mail i received just a while ago from a dear friend whom i had the pleasure of knowing here in FF. She is just one of many who dared to dream to find someone special via the net, and got burned just like the many, many others who tried to put their hearts on the line and lost. Can it be possible? is it still possible, to find true love in this unforgiving world of on-line dating. One can only hope. well, i myself don't want to give up on love. I am the type who's willing to love and lose, than never have tried to love at all. I guess the right attitude to take is "Hope for the better, prepare for the worst." |

mav,don't giveup if you're in love espescially regarding the online love affair,am part of it and i do tesify that am having a wonderful relationship and thru this ff site gave me such wonderful partner whom i have,now you're in pain but that is not the end of the day for you,that's the beginning of your journey how you handle the so called pain in terms of love but then be strong try to fight out and learn to accept but try your best to overcome consequences!there's is a successful online love mav,and me is a part of it,be strong you'll have that fulfilment very soon.you can do that,you can have it!don't give up!take care

SF.. still cant see anything!!  lol.. wats going on with my laptop?  its all black for me nothing there..  yes, truly weird!  anyways, oh? the one we've talked about? thats sad.. been looking for her and yes, havent seen her.. miss ya sf..  i was beating my brains silly for quite a while now trying to figure out W.T.H. is SF. Until I remembered it was me who coined it. tsk tsk tsk...looks like i'm beginnng to have memory gaps...hehehe same here, i miss my regular dose of chats from you...  take care SF

I feel it is possible to find love on an online dating site such as this, but not likely. But it's kinda like playing the lottery, one never knows and winning does happen. I like what Ms Fancy wrote about going in with no expections but I feel that is the case about love in the real world too. Also like your thought about it's better to have loved and lost then to have not loved at all. Sorry your friend had a bad experience here. thanks for the visit.

to find love, whether online or through the normal way...always entails risks... but i think it is still possible to find a person to love... but one must be prepared, like you said....for the surprises one might encounter. good luck... i couldn't agree more... thanks for the visit

well bro, I've been active here in FF for four months and have met many many chatters from all over, and I can definitely say I'm enjoying myself. Although, at one time, I wanted to quit too...but was talked out of it !! Thank God I have very good and honest friends !! Still missing you Bro !! huggggssssss !!!!!!!!!
