Well, it's here. Time to move to another chapter. If all goes well I will be able to make some new contacts for the nail biz but most of all right now I just want to do good and know I will have a definite paycheck to depend on. The IRS is screaming at me and my fuel oil tank sounds pretty hollow. This doesn't exactly allow me to do what my heart beats for, but maybe it just wasn't meant to be right now.
I hate saying pithy crap like that......
I have felt very stifled as far as nails go up to this point. I AM good, but the ways that I learned to work do not coincide with the Boss Guy's theories and he makes sure that everyone who walks in the door thinks HIS way is the only right way. It makes my clients nervous when I then do something that he wouldn't do and it goes downhill from there.

But isn't it funny - he sure as hell is there to take credit for the work that I do that no one - NO ONE - else in this area has the time or talent for. My art is splattered all over his nail page on MySpace as if he did it. What is he going to do when someone wants that and he can't produce. We could have had a very good partnership, but I'm just vain enough to want credit for my own work.
And so a page turns. I have to make sure to tell him NOT to schedule appointments for me at the end of my other work day. As it is I have one or two clients still scheduled after hours till the end of the month and I don't want to commit to that all through the winter. My husband is also important. Working 8-4:30 and then 5:30-??? and weekends is not going to cut it for long.
