Because of her, Filipinos have lost all tolerance for anyone who would try to hang on to power longer than is Constitutionally mandated. There are now grumblings of another People Power type get together should the present President, Macapagal-Arroyo, try to extend her term by amending the Constitution. That happens, I'm gonna be taking to the streets. Cory Aquino wouldn't want it any other way. Her biggest monument is in the hearts of the millions she inspired. May she rest in peace.

It is strange to see what power can do to people. It makes some rise above all and become a lightning example to everyone and others just role in it. And Ana if you have to go on the street, you won´t be alone as won´t the millions of others, Cory will be in each and evryone of you. You could tell him he's in training to be an astronaut and put him in diapers for the trek. If they're the modern sort, they should add to the thermal protection even if used a little. It might save you from wishing you had worn ski goggles.
