There is the moment before
Arms akimbo
Moist, warm heat
Dying to know the cool of the water.

There is the moment after

Sploosh.

Aaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh.
Cool popsicle relief
Marvelous
The kisses of fishes.

I've heard of sleeping with the fishes but not making out with them!

*pip*

So went the fishy kisses in Dr. Seuss' "Mr. Brown Can Moo".

You got pipped a lot?

I'm dyslexic. I scream Ho Dog instead of Oh God in the throes of passion.

Sleeping with fishes? Now that's new. Sounds a bit slimy.

Fish kisses are what you feelin that lovely moment when you're under water and something unseen brushes against you.

I would think it would be difficult, and not altogether pleasant, to kiss a fish.

But, to each his own.

Count on Dr. Seuss to know all about pips.

Splooshes too.

Sigh. I haven't been swimming in ages.

I thought "pips" were backup singers?

Enjoy the ride. All you take with you when you leave is the experience.

You're right, of course.

I just don't find them underwater very often.

He he.
