cheez-whiz

i like to watch cheese-ball movies... not those horrid ben stiller movies... or those "comedies" by apatow - does anyone without a penis actually find that junk funny?? like heigl herself said, it portrays women as shrews... anyway... i was watching 13 going on 30 today (for, admittedly, the 3rd time), and i was pondering how i really enjoy these simple types of movies... maybe it's just a great 80s throw-back?? certainly i always watch ferris bueller when it's on... or wolf lol i NEVER get tired of back to the future, although it's less cheesy... even mindless action-movie cheese is good... something like mr and mrs smith...

on a more serious note... i find myself involved in a little custody dispute and am about to order a temporary injunction against an unsuspecting idiot... i am hopeful that our system is not so messed up that it will sit idly by and watch the future of a being flushed, but my rational side practically knows better...

i generally like more intellectual films... but i seem to latch onto these feel-good ones sometimes... i also watched hard candy again lately and was considering how amazing ellen page is going to be as the new jane eyre, despite my love of the recent bbc version... shawshank was very cool, but i think the short story was better... quite ironic that i originally read it while in jail lol i am currently trying to find a copy of la belle et la bete... and it seems that one of my comments was denied for being french, too...

i completely agree about divorced parents, etc... fortunately this doesnt involve my own child in this case there is fairly extreme abuse and no stable living conditions... the child's emotional and physical health is suffering as well as her education... ty for well wishes...

and yeh, this is a fairly disjointed post-feedbax feedbax
