torchy2007,
As I had said I used many verses of songs that I related to while I grew up again. Now who says that there is no verse quotes from the master himself, Eric. Saw him 3 times in concert. Even on his birthday in Charlotte, NC., back in 1997. Do you think I would ever forget him after seeing what he can do? NAW, wouldn't happen!

Kokoaloha,
I'm proud of you and were friends forever! I am a (70's) lyrics buff and anyone who could of recognized that must be also.
VERY GOOD!! That song I sang along with to myself as I worked the bar during the day preparing for the night. It is still my favorite song, besides "Stairway to Heaven". The words to that song you would not believe spelled out exactly some psychological turmoil I went through. It was my theme song!
Another verse... "Put your finger down my throat before I laugh and act like a fool". As you read this epic, you'll see where that verse also fits it. That song "Behind Blue Eyes" and yes, I have baby blues also. I related.
If you'll pay attention there are numerous verses from songs that I related to. I was, am very much into the lyrics of the classic 70's. Many were ballads that told a story without the "shoot your boy", "rape that girl", "sell that crack" they have now in the noise they call music today! I think they call it rap?
I listened for 8 years, everyday to the radio, cassettes as I worked. I listened and related to many.
Okay.....aficionados. My very last post will be from a Jim Croce song. If you have read this epic throughout you may know where I am going. Lets have some fun. Can anyone take a wild guess of the verse from what song that it will be? It famous!
To get this you have got to know your 70's and this blog!
