There should be a more equitable distribution....perhaps a flat tax. I also thing that we should not be giving HUGE refunds to people who pay no tax.

Taxes are important but care should be taken to see that we ALL pay our fare share and that our precious money is being well spent....... Remember..live each day as it comes..it may be your last!!!xx " NAMASTE"

I've stopped using the road and decided that since I'm staying at home, I don't need to pay taxes.

I agree Mary - flat tax so that its fair to everyone not just some. Plus, how can people get refunds larger than what they paid in each year really gets under my skin.

This is my thought on the subject.  Every week when I look at my paycheck, it pisses me off that a majority of it goes to the government. It's like I am paying them to allow me to work, which is a crock of crap! The more I make, the more they get. They don't have to put up with the everyday B.S. I put up with. They sit back and collect. To be honest with you, I'm very weary of working for the IRS. I can't even qualify for a Pell Grant because according to the Fed. Government I make too much money. But if they only realized that they took half of my paycheck, they might would reconsider. I think we should get rid of taxes all together, and if our schools, roads, and insurances need fixed or replenished then collect debts from all these other Countries that owe us money instead of forgiving them of their debts to us. Or for that matter, look out for our own FIRST. Which we don't do! Wishing you love, good cheer, and a song in your heart!
