I'd have to identify my mistakes as such to be able to do them again. When we are lost in thought, could the reason be that we're on totally unfamiliar terrain?

Very good....There is a lot of wisdom in that statement. Tallulah was a very funny lady.  I always say that I never make the same mistake twice, I make new ones every day  Have a great weekend, take time to smell the flowers..  Flo   Every survival kit should include sense of humor

My children are wonderful, intelligent people because I 'let them' make mistakes so that they learn and grow to be better individuals. Make them sooner and get to the really good part of life...yep, I agree with that one. Hi Scooty Welcome to my space Well said Mistakes made us grow into the person we are today. My children are wonderful, intelligent people because I 'let them' make mistakes so that they learn and grow to be better individuals. Thank you for stopping by you are right! I make my own mistakes nowadays with great "enthusiasm" when you know what I mean, but It's much more difficult to let my daughter do the same.... But I know as good as you so that I let her. Same here, the mistakes that nearly took my life, such as trying to water-ski in turbulent waters and getting sucked down and nearly drown.
