Ok, just call this a bonus challenge It follows the same rules as the 10 words challenge, the only difference is that I decided to use 5 word combinations that amused me. You don't have to use those combinations. (Not sure how easy those words will be to incorporate into a poem, hence the challenge name of Terrible Two's)
The Challenge - Just for Fun
Write a poem incorporating all of the 10 words from the list. The words can be used in any order and may be changed to variations ie - Shop = Shops, Shopping, Shopper.
Title your piece as you like.
You can post your poem to your own blog, or post it here. If posting to your blog, then please post a message/link here so we can all visit to read.
Please do not post the challenge anywhere else. Thanks.
Have fun
 Muse

Dear Muse
Ahh loved this challenge too... you are so good with these, and theyre a great distraction....thank you for keeping my mind occupied and active.
As the tentacles of life Touch you in a tickle like manner Poking and proding The ever seeing cauldron Shows the spirit being eaten by carnivorous souls. As if in a drunken state, unable to move The denture like jaws bite down. Like a pilgrim with pulsating thought Bucking like a feisty filly yearning to be free Freedom beckons you.
Thanks Muse.. I so love your challenges,,,

Hi Dear Muse, As I see what I've written is a bit similar to OZ's poem in mood, but when I saw the word list for the challenge, I had just been provoked to a gloomy mood. So here it is and thank you for being a good-willed friend of mine !
Tentacles of spite, reeling in this cauldron of life, make a drunken fiesta sinking their carnivorous poisonous dentures into the pulsating hearts of fillies on their shy pilgrimage in search of love.
I couldn't find a proper place for the word "tickle", I hope I'll be forgiven

I tickled the pot. A tentacle writhed And something went ‘splot’.
Cooking for carnivorous crooks is no fun When you’re chained to the cauldron And they are all drunk.
I stirred hard again And the broth made a ‘gloop’ Some dentures appeared Then sank back in the soup.
My stomach lurched My head started pulsating That pilgrim who’d passed Had the same dental plating.
And what of his daughter? That fair feisty filly. I thought for a moment Then remembered the chilli.

Wasn't sure how to link this..but here it goes...
With each step a tentacle of fear creeping and tickling up my spine... Stirring at the Cauldron sat a Crone Carnivorous donations in her brine.
Tail of a filly, a fat feisty frog.... Pulsing energy, sulfur scented air. A bat wing, an ox tongue tossed in the fog. Legs are weak, electricity charged hair.
For good measure, thrown in, wooden dentures Hag crooking her finger, with toothless grin Sipping the brew knowing for what I ventured Drunk with desire, at last...to be young and thin.
OK this was hard...
Earth is the insane asylum for the universe.

I've heard that an octopus Tickles it's prey. It's tentacles wiggle Out there in the bay Where carnivourous beasties All flock with delight To the sound of the laughter And a hapless meal's plight.
The cauldron of night Is a permanent feature Down here in the deep Where this multi-armed creature Is drunk with desire To nibble and feast. It devours without dentures Once the struggling's ceased.
It's prey once swum gaily, Now it's something to eat. Another mad pilgrimage Ends in defeat. The fiesty wee octopus Care's not for caerphilly. It's meal is it's neighbours. (Oh boy, that was silly!)
Edward Lear, eat your heart out!
